LENT AND EASTER SERVICES

 

Our season of Lent begins with an Ash Wednesday service on February 17th at 1:30 and 5:30pm. Midweek services then continue on every Wednesday at 1:30 and 5:30pm through March 24th. There is a fellowship meal following every 5:30 midweek Lenten service.

On the weekend of March 27th & 28th we celebrate Palm Sunday with communion at all our regular services.

Special Seder suppers with a communion liturgy will begin at 5:30 on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 29th, 30th, & 31st, but those wishing to attend must make reservations since there is a seating limit.

On April 1st, 1:30pm and 5:30pm communion services will mark the occasion of Maundy Thursday, and on Friday, April 2nd at 12 noon, we worship for the three hours that Jesus hung on the cross in a Tre Ore service. At 5:30pm we observe Good Friday with a Tenebrae service of darkness.

Our Easter Vigil service will be held at our regular 5:30 service on Saturday, April 3rd.

On April 4th, our Easter Day celebration with choir and brass ensemble begins with a sunrise communion service at 6:00am, and continues with an 8am communion service and a 10:30am communion service.
