Bob Cloeter

Bob Cloeter arrived at St. Martin's/Winona in the Spring of 1983. He is one of seven children born to Rev. O.H. and Elsie Cloeter of Faribault, Minnesota. He graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul, Minnesota in 1976 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. He taught five years at St. John's Lutheran School in Chaska, Minnesota. It was in Chaska he met and married Marilyn Molnau in February of 1981. They have three sons: Jesse, Casey and Adam. He served St. John's School/Chaska until May of 1982. Bob again attended Concordia University, St. Paul, Minnesota and entered the Director of Outreach program. He graduated with an outreach/evangelism degree in the spring of 1983. He received his call to St. Martin's and began his ministry in Winona August 1, 1983.

Duties as Outreach Director

• To bring AWARENESS, TRAIN, and PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES for the work of evangelism in the lives of St. Martin's members.

• To conduct personal evangelism calls to people in Winona and surrounding communities.

• To lead a Men's Bible Study in the Winona County Jail.

• To lead Witness training for members to share their Christian faith.

• Student/Adult Confirmation Instructor

• Coordinate sponsorship of new members.

• Assimilation of new members

• Provide Children's Message Schedule for Worship and train lay members who are involved.

• Coordinate, supervise, and teach Summer and Monday Story Time: A summer and weekly children's Bible school outreach.

• Staff representative to the Mission and Evangelism Boards.

Duties as Family Ministry Director

• Staff representative to the Family Ministry Committee.

• Monitor the Milestone Celebration opportunities.

• Create, plan, and implement ministry at all Milestone age levels.
