At a Special Voters' Meeting called for Sunday, February 24, 2002, at 6:30 p.m. the Phase II Building Master Plan was presented, discussed, and then approved by the voters as the proper physical layout for our future ministry.

The Building-Planning Committee then gave the go-ahead to Schwab Co. to prepare preliminary cost-figures for each section of the master plan and waited, and waited, expectantly for the results. Finally, these were presented to the Church Council and then published with an explanation for each section (office complex, annex, gymnasium, and fellowship hall renovation) in the Messenger and church bulletin.

The next step considered was a feasibility study of the congregation. Mr. Michael Fuchs of Capital Fund developers was engaged to assist our congregation in this effort. His findings were shared with the congregation on Sunday, April 27, 2003. Although his research found strong support for the Phase II building project, his recommendation was to delay the financial campaign and construction phases at this time. He suggested that the congregation first look to some strategic planning and a year-long stewardship emphasis before continuing with our planned building expansion. The leadership is currently pursuing options in addressing these issues.
